| Obverse description | The central field displays the coat of arms of the Republic of Palau, rendered as a shield incorporating a traditional scene of a warrior and a mermaid amid stylized ocean waves, surmounted by a conventional Palauan outrigger canoe. Eight small stars are arranged in a symmetrical arc flanking the shield on either side. The legend REPUBLIC OF PALAU curves along the upper periphery, while the series title RAINBOW'S END is inscribed within the lower portion of the shield. The denomination 1$ appears in the lower field beneath the arms. |
