Reverse description The reverse is executed in blue intaglio on a cream ground, framed by an elaborate scalloped guilloche border with numeral 5 repeated in each corner. To the right, an oval vignette presents the Heavenly Southern Gate (Nan Tianmen) in Shantung, rendered in fine engraved line work against a stone-wall foreground.
