Obverse description Irregular hammered copper flan displaying a crude design in low relief, heavily patinated with green cuprite encrustations over the native reddish-brown copper surface. The central field bears a roughly circular incuse or raised device, possibly a floral or symbolic motif, accompanied by a cluster of small pellets in the upper right quadrant. The overall strike is characteristic of the primitive hand-hammered coinage produced in the Bhavnagar princely state, with the flan edges uneven and the design only partially visible due to die misalignment and wear. An Arabic legend referencing Shah Jahan III is associated with this face.
