Obverse description Crude hammered field bearing Persian or Nagari inscription in multiple lines occupying the entire coin face, referencing the Mughal emperor Shah Jahan III as the nominal sovereign. The legends are deeply struck but irregular in execution, consistent with the primitive die-cutting practices of 18th-century Bhavnagar coinage. The surface shows characteristic granular texture and green copper patina. The inscription is arranged across the field without a formal border, in the tradition of contemporary Kathiawar princely copper issues.
