Obverse description Circular Urdu legend around the periphery reading 'George V, Kaiser-i-Hind, Zarb Bhuj' (George V, Emperor of India, struck at Bhuj). A vertical dagger divides the legend, with the Anno Domini date inscribed in Arabic-Indic numerals in the central field below the word 'Sanah' (year). The design is rendered in low relief typical of Kutch princely coinage of the period.
