| Obverse description | Central circular cartouche enclosing the Hijri date 1874 (corresponding to 1817-1818 AD) rendered in Arabic-Indic numerals, surmounted by a decorative foliate or floral motif. The cartouche is surrounded by a continuous Persian nastaliq legend occupying the broad outer field, arranged in a wreath-like border around the entire face. The flan is irregular in shape, characteristic of hammered copper coinage of the Kutch princely state, with a well-worn but legible overall relief. |
