| Obverse description | Central field bears the AH date 1331 inscribed in Western-Arabic numerals, surrounded by elaborate Arabic calligraphic legends arranged in multiple registers. The inscriptions, rendered in a flowing Maghrebi script, occupy the full face of the coin within a beaded inner border, with additional decorative text encircling the periphery. The overall design follows the traditional Moroccan Sharifian style with no portrait effigy, consistent with Islamic coinage conventions. |
