| Reverse description | Central field displays a multi-line Kufic Arabic legend arranged in horizontal registers, containing the Shahada (Islamic profession of faith) and the name of the Abbasid caliph as suzerain, in accordance with standard Buyid coinage protocol. The text reads in stacked lines across the inner die area, framed by a circular inner border. A marginal inscription in Kufic script encircles the central panel, separated from the rim by a beaded or geometric border. The coin exhibits the typical irregular flan and slightly off-center strike characteristic of hammered silver dirhams of the Buyid period. |
