| Obverse description | Central field occupied by multiple horizontal lines of Kufic Arabic religious and dynastic inscriptions, arranged in the traditional Abbasid-influenced format. The legend is contained within a plain inner border, with a circular marginal inscription running around the periphery of the coin. The lettering, struck by hand, shows characteristic irregularity and slight doubling consistent with hammered billon coinage of the Hamdanid period. The field is flat with moderate surface wear and natural porosity associated with billon alloy. |

| Reverse description | The reverse presents multiple horizontal lines of Kufic Arabic script arranged concentrically in the central field, referencing the mint, date, and ruler's titles in the conventional Abbasid administrative style adopted by the Hamdanids of Aleppo. A circular marginal legend surrounds the central inscription panel. The strike is weak in areas, consistent with the irregular flan and hand-hammered technique. Significant porosity and die wear are evident across the surface, typical of late Hamdanid billon issues. |
