Obverse description Central bearded facing bust of the ruler in low relief, enclosed within a beaded inner circle. The bust is rendered in a schematic Artuqid-influenced style typical of Anatolian Islamic coinage of the 12th–13th centuries. An Arabic legend surrounds the central motif in the outer field, running along the coin's irregular flan. The overall design reflects the Seljuk-influenced artistic conventions of the Mengüjekid dynasty.
