| Reverse description | The reverse presents multiple horizontal registers of Arabic Kufic script filling the central field, with additional marginal or border legends partially visible at the periphery of the irregular flan. The inscriptions include the mint name, regnal date in the AH 44x series, and the name and titles of the Qarakhanid ruler Bahram. The die work is typical of Eastern Qarakhanid hammered coinage, with slightly uneven strike and flan spread common to the billon dirhams of Uzkand. |
