| Reverse description | Central field features a multi-line Arabic inscription in Kufic script, divided into three or four horizontal lines within a square cartouche defined by linear borders. The reverse marginal legend, rendered in bold Kufic, runs between concentric circular borders and contains mint and date information referencing Ijerhan. The overall style is consistent with anonymous North African Ibadi and Mu'tazilite coinage of the early third century AH, with boldly struck but somewhat crudely executed letterforms characteristic of peripheral Islamic minting traditions. |
