Obverse description Central field occupied by a multi-line Arabic religious legend arranged in horizontal bands, rendered in raised naskh script on a flat ground. The inscription is enclosed within a circular border composed of a continuous arabesque or foliate band. The flan is irregular and slightly uneven in thickness, characteristic of hand-hammered medieval Islamic coinage. The overall style reflects the epigraphic dirham tradition, with the legend filling the entire central field without figurative imagery.
