Obverse description Densely packed multi-line Arabic religious and dynastic legend occupying the entire field, executed in a cursive naskh-influenced hand typical of late Rasulid coinage. The inscription fills the flan edge to edge with no inner or outer border, reflecting the compact calligraphic style characteristic of hammered Yemeni dirhams of this period. The relief is bold but irregular, with the legends showing slight doubling consistent with a hand-struck flan. The surface displays natural die wear and uneven strike pressure across the field.
