Reverse description Central circular cartouche bearing the denomination '50' in Eastern Arabic numerals, with the word 'درهم' (Dirham) above and 'فلساً' (Fils) below, all within a raised circular frame. Flanking the cartouche are two symmetrical palm branches crossing at the base, symbolic of the Kingdom of Iraq. The upper field carries the Arabic legend of the Kingdom in two lines, while the dual dating in both Hijri (1375) and Gregorian (1955) numerals appears below the central device. The whole design is enclosed within a reeded border.
