Obverse description Central field features the quartered coat of arms of Andorra, displaying the bishop's mitre and crozier in the first quarter, the stripes of the County of Foix in the second, the stripes of Catalonia in the third, and the three cows of Béarn in the fourth, all within an ornate baroque cartouche bearing the motto VIRTVS VNITA FORTIOR on a scroll at the base. The legend PRINCIPAT D'ANDORRA curves along the upper rim in bold relief. The denomination 1 D. and the date 2013 are inscribed in the lower field.

Reverse description Facing bust portrait of Henry IV of France (1553–1610), rendered in fine relief, depicting the king in period costume with an elaborately ruffled lace collar and richly embroidered doublet. The effigy occupies the central field and is executed in a Renaissance court portraiture style, showing the king with a short beard and wavy hair. The legend ENRIC IV arcs along the upper rim, while the dates 1553-1610 are inscribed in the lower exergue.
