Obverse description The king Vima Kadphises seated in a two-wheeled chariot drawn by two horses advancing to the right, the royal figure depicted in profile wearing elaborate Kushan robes and crown, holding a goad or sceptre; the chariot rendered with a large spoked wheel visible beneath. A Bactrian legend in Kushan script runs around the periphery of the field, bordered below by a beaded exergual line.
