Reverse description Central field displays a multi-line Arabic legend in three to four horizontal registers within a plain inner circle, recording the name and titles of the ruler Tamim ibn Buluggin al-Mustansir alongside acknowledgment of Abbasid suzerainty, executed in bold Andalusian Kufic script. A continuous marginal legend in Arabic script runs within the outer border, encircling the central inscription and separated by a raised linear frame. The overall die work is characteristic of late Taifa-period Andalusian gold coinage, with energetic but somewhat irregular lettering reflecting provincial workshop production.
