Reverse description Central field displays multiple horizontal lines of Arabic calligraphic inscription in bold raised relief, occupying the full inner circle. The legends, executed in Naskh script, record the ruler's titles and likely a Quranic formula, consistent with Hormuzid numismatic convention. A marginal inscription encircles the central area, separated by an inner linear border, with a further outer beaded border running close to the irregular coin edge. The overall style reflects the hammered gold coinage tradition of the Persian Gulf region in the late thirteenth century.
