Reverse description Central field contains a seven-line Arabic inscription flanked on either side by a sword motif, the whole enclosed within a double circle punctuated by small ringlets. A further circular marginal legend in Arabic script surrounds the double border, bearing additional religious formulae and the name of the ruling authority or caliph in the characteristic Seljuq hammered-coin style.
