Putnik was the state travel and tourism enterprise of the Federal People's Republic of Yugoslavia, and this note is one of the more unusual items to come out of that period — a single-dinar transport voucher issued by a government travel agency rather than a bank. These were functional scrip, used internally within Putnik's operations to handle small payments for passengers and tourists moving through the Yugoslav network in the early 1950s, a period when hard currency controls made ordinary cash transactions involving foreign visitors administratively inconvenient.

Not a banknote in any central-bank sense. Collector interest is niche but consistent among Yugoslav notaphilists who specialize in non-banking issuers.
