Reverse description Standing frontal figure of the Iranian lunar goddess Nanaia, nimbed and draped in a flowing robe, depicted facing slightly left within a beaded border. She holds a long staff or sceptre in her raised right hand and a diadem or wreath in her left hand. A tamgha symbol of the Kushan dynastic emblem appears to the right in the field. The Bactrian legend NANAIA is inscribed vertically to the left of the figure.
