Obverse description Central field bears a multi-line Arabic Kufic inscription arranged in horizontal registers within a plain border, characteristic of early Ghurid hammered coinage. The legend proclaims the shahada in three lines across the flan, with additional marginal text partially visible along the periphery. The irregular flan displays typical characteristics of hand-struck medieval Islamic coinage, with moderate die wear and surface granularity. The field is flat with no additional decorative elements, consistent with the austere epigraphic style of Ghurid dinars. Some areas of weakness are visible at the edges due to the irregular shape of the planchet.
