Obverse description Portrait of King Abdullah I in traditional white keffiyeh, set within an intricate guilloche medallion at centre-right, rendered in green intaglio. Arabic inscriptions and the denomination appear in the lower centre, with ornate geometric underprint patterns framing the design. Two signature facsimiles with Arabic titles appear at lower left.

Reverse description A panoramic vignette of the ancient Roman forum at Jerash, with the colonnaded oval plaza and surrounding ruins rendered in fine green intaglio engraving, set between two tall classical columns that frame the design on either side. The numeral "1" appears in each corner, with the English title inscription along the top and denomination along the bottom. The printer's imprint runs in small text along the lower margin.
