Obverse description At right, a vignette portrays a Yugoslav Partisan soldier carrying a rifle, rendered after the figure of partisan Milivoj Rodić in a design conceived by Đorđe Andrejević Kun. Denomination and issuing authority inscriptions in both Cyrillic and Latin scripts are disposed within a composition framed by simple border rules. The austere graphic treatment is characteristic of partisan-era Yugoslav emergency currency.

Reverse description The Yugoslav coat of arms, bearing the commemorative date 29-XI-1943 — marking the founding of the Anti-Fascist Council of National Liberation of Yugoslavia (AVNOJ) — is positioned at left. A framed panel at right carries the issue date of the banknote, with simple border ornamentation consistent with the note's wartime austerity.
