Reverse description The reverse features a heraldic eagle displayed at center, with wings outstretched and head turned to the right, closely based on the Great Seal of the United States. The eagle's breast is covered by a vertically striped shield, and it holds a bundle of arrows in its left talon and an olive branch in its right. A flowing scroll inscribed E PLURIBUS UNUM passes above the eagle's head, surmounted by a constellation of thirteen stars within a glory of clouds. The circular legend UNITED STATES OF AMERICA runs along the periphery, with a denticulated border at the rim.
