| Reverse description | The reverse displays a Persian-script legend arranged in multiple registers across the irregularly shaped flan, separated by a horizontal line dividing the field into upper and lower sections. In the lower right portion of the field, a katar (Indian push dagger) is depicted, serving as a dynastic or mint emblem of the Kutch ruling house. The inscription and device are rendered in the characteristic bold, hand-engraved style of hammered Kutchi copper coinage of the early 18th century. The overall design, though crude in execution, retains clear legibility in well-struck examples. |
