Obverse description Central field depicts a stylized frontal figure of a bishop or ecclesiastical dignitary, rendered in a flat, archaic hammered style characteristic of medieval Italian deniers. The figure appears vested in liturgical robes with a mitre or tiered headdress above, flanked by dotted ornamental elements. A long processional cross or crozier descends vertically through the center of the design. The surrounding circular legend reads ✠ PORTVTE SANA, referencing Latisana. The overall style is bold and schematic, typical of northern Italian feudal coinage of the late 12th to early 13th century.
