Obverse description Central field bears the crowned twofold Hungarian coat of arms, with the KB mintmark divided on either side of the shield. The arms break through the surrounding legend, which is rendered in Latin without an inner circle. The overall composition is characteristic of the small Hungarian denier coinage of the period, with the shield rendered in a compact heraldic style appropriate to the diminutive flan.
