Obverse lettering + • K • R • PRINC' ACh'
Reverse description Central field features a stylized heraldic crown with three fleurs, set above a horizontal bar supported by two feet, all contained within a beaded inner circle. The crown is rendered in a bold, schematic style typical of Angevin feudal issues. The surrounding Latin legend + • CLARENTIA • references the mint city of Clarentza (Glarentza) in the Peloponnese. The lettering is disposed in Gothic characters separated by pellets, consistent with other Achaean deniers of the period.
