| Obverse description | Central field dominated by the elaborately calligraphic crowned Cyrillic monogram of Emperor Pavel I (Paul I), formed by the Cyrillic letter 'П' intertwined with the numeral 'I', rendered in an ornate cursive style with foliate flourishes and scrollwork at the terminals.
