| Obverse description | Central cross with forked or splayed tips set within a beaded inner circle, flanked by four large six-pointed stars in the quarters. The legend IMPERATOR HE / RIC is arranged in two lines across the field, with a small O bearing an internal cross (⊚) positioned beneath the central motif.
