Additional information

Ludovico Migliorati held Fermo as a papal vicar, a tenure that ended when he was strangled on the orders of his own uncle, Pope Innocent VII — one of the more direct family disputes in curial history. His coinage is accordingly brief and scarce. The CNI records only a handful of dies for this type, and the three-year window it represents closed violently in 1428.
