| Obverse description | Counterstamp applied to the field of a host fals, bearing Arabic legend reading 'Dangi Urdu' (meaning 'camp dangi') struck within a rectangular cartouche. The surrounding field retains fragmentary Arabic inscriptions from the original host coin, rendered in a bold Naskh script. The surfaces are characteristically rough and irregular, consistent with the crude hammered technique employed at informal military camp mints. The counterstamp is boldly impressed and clearly legible despite the worn condition of the host flan. |
