| Reverse description | Irregular hammered field displaying bold Devanagari characters centrally placed within the flan. The design follows the conventional layout of Nepalese gold dam coinage, with the inscription occupying nearly the entire coin surface. The rough, uneven flan edges and the deeply struck legend are consistent with the hand-hammered production methods used throughout Surendra Bikrama Shah's reign. The field shows the characteristic granular surface texture associated with this series of minute gold coinage. |
