| Obverse description | Central square frame enclosing a multi-line Devanagari legend reading the royal name and title of King Prithivi Bir Bikram Shah Deva. The field within the square is plain with a small central dot. Flanking the central square on left and right are decorative floral and crescent ornamental devices. The outer circular border carries an additional Devanagari legend completing the royal titulature, with further ornamental elements at top and bottom. |
