Reverse description Reverse field occupied entirely by a multi-line Arabic-script inscription in bold Naskh characters, arranged in two or three horizontal registers across the irregularly shaped flan. The legend records the regnal year (Hijri date) and, on some issues, the mint name, following the standard formulaic layout of Mughal copper dams. The relief is high and somewhat rough, consistent with hammered production, and the surfaces exhibit a dark olive-brown patina with localised green encrustations typical of heavily circulated copper issues of the period.
