Obverse description The obverse of this large copper plate money (plåtmynt) bears five applied stamps across the rectangular field. The central stamp displays the denomination in three lines — '1 DALER SILF · MYNT' — surmounted above a pair of crossed arrows, the traditional Swedish treasury symbol. Each of the four corner stamps features the royal cypher 'AFRS' (Adolphus Fridericus Rex Sveciae) beneath a crown, with the regnal year struck below the monogram. The stamps are impressed into the thick copper plate, characteristic of the Swedish plåtmynt coinage tradition, and the overall surface exhibits the irregular warping and patination typical of large-format copper currency of this period.
