Reverse description Crowned coat of arms of the Dutch Generality (the Lion of the Netherlands) centrally placed within a beaded inner circle, with the date divided on either side of the shield. The Latin motto legend, punctuated by ornamental stops and the Middelburg mint mark, runs between the inner and outer beaded borders. The heraldic composition is typical of the Dutch provincial Rijksdaalder series, presenting the collective sovereignty of the United Provinces.
