Reverse description Crowned quartered arms of the Spanish Habsburg dynasty displayed on a shield resting upon the Burgundian cross, flanked symmetrically by fire steels. The jewel of the Order of the Golden Fleece hangs below the central shield on a chain. The composition is enclosed within a beaded inner circle, with the coats of arms of the seventeen provinces arranged in sequence around the outer border, forming a rich heraldic frame typical of Netherlandish regal coinage of the period.
