Reverse description A full-length standing figure of Minerva Victrix, helmeted and draped in classical robes, faces right in the field. She extends her right hand to support a small winged Victory holding a laurel wreath, while her left hand grasps a long sceptre surmounted by a trident. A circular shield rests at her feet, inscribed DECUS ET TUTAMEN along its arc. The flanking field legends BRITT MINERVA VICTRIX to the left and FID DEF to the right are rendered in bold incuse lettering, and the entire design is enclosed within a border of small five-pointed stars.
