| Obverse description | The fourth definitive effigy of Queen Elizabeth II, designed by Raphael David Maklouf, depicted as a right-facing crowned bust wearing a tiara and drop earring, rendered in high relief against a mirror-polished field. The circumferential legend reads ELIZABETH II · D · G · REGINA · GIBRALTAR around the upper arc, with the date 2018 and denomination ONE CROWN completing the lower arc. The engraver's initials RDM appear beneath the truncation of the bust. |
