Reverse description Central to the design is a finely detailed rendering of the ancient Egyptian Eye of Horus (Wedjat eye), depicted as a sacred amulet with characteristic falcon markings, kohl lines, and the distinctive teardrop element below, all executed in high relief. The iris of the eye is set with a genuine cabochon lapis lazuli inset, providing a vivid deep blue contrast against the polished silver field. Flanking the eye are elaborate Egyptian decorative elements including a spread-winged vulture figure to the left and a coiled uraeus serpent to the right, both resting on a stylized base or plinth. The Pobjoy Mint mark PM appears at the lower left of the central design. The legend TUTANKHAMUN arcs across the upper field, and ONE CROWN is inscribed along the lower periphery, both in upright serif lettering.
