Additional information

The Isle of Man's annual cat crown series, launched in 1981, was one of the earliest bullion-adjacent collector programs to exploit a themed series format for repeat buyers — the Siamese issue appearing in 1992 at the height of that market. Pobjoy Mint struck these under contract, as they did the bulk of Manx coinage throughout the period.

The .999 fine specification distinguishes this piece from the .925 companion strike (KM#332), both released simultaneously to serve different collector segments.
