Gibraltar's crown series from this period was prolific to the point of exhaustion — the territory issued dozens of collector-oriented copper-nickel pieces annually through the 2000s, many with mintages too small to satisfy demand and too large to generate real scarcity. KM#1461 sits in that ambiguous middle ground.
