Additional information

Tristan da Cunha is the most remote permanently inhabited island on Earth, roughly 2,800 kilometers from the nearest landmass. Its coins are struck under license and never circulate domestically in any meaningful sense — the island's tiny population of around 250 uses Saint Helena pound for everyday transactions. Issues like this one exist almost entirely for the philatelic and numismatic export market, funded by collector demand rather than any local monetary need.

KM#41 commemorates the 2005 marriage of Charles and Camilla Parker Bowles.
