Additional information

Peter Pan's connection to Gibraltar is direct: J.M. Barrie donated the copyright to the Great Ormond Street Hospital for Children in London in 1929, and the hospital retained those rights — with Parliamentary protection — long after they would otherwise have expired. Gibraltar's commemorative crown program in the early 2000s leaned heavily on British cultural touchstones, and this issue was part of a broader licensed series rather than any particular anniversary of the story or its author.
