Additional information

Pobjoy Mint struck this Crown for the Isle of Man — one of several dozen Olympic sport-themed issues released across 2009–2011 as a long-running countdown series to London 2012. The sheer volume of types produced in that program means individual pieces saw minimal secondary-market demand almost immediately upon release, and most examples remain in the condition they left the packaging.
