Additional information

Issued to mark the 600th anniversary of Henry V's birth in 1386, this was part of Gibraltar's prolific commemorative program of the 1990s — a period when the territory leaned heavily on British historical subjects to generate collector revenue. Henry V's connection to Gibraltar is essentially nonexistent; the choice reflects marketing logic rather than historical relevance.

The .925 silver proof version shares its KM number suffix with a cupro-nickel circulation strike, a common bifurcation in Gibraltar's commemorative output of this era.
