| Obverse description | Right-facing effigy of Queen Elizabeth II, wearing the George IV State Diadem and adorned with a pearl drop earring and pearl necklace, as modelled by Raphael Maklouf. The truncation of the bust is draped with a gown. The legend 'ELIZABETH II' arcs along the left field, while 'GIBRALTAR' and the date '1994' arc along the right field, all in raised Latin lettering.
